Artist Series - T
Inspiration for this guitar comes from my love of the old Blackguards of the 50's and 60's. I have used hand wound pickups, the neck is a hand wound wide range, its turned out really warm... you never really know what you are going to get with a hand wound pup... just an idea.
The bridge pup, also hand wound on A3 magnets works well with the wide range neck giving a little less "Tele Twang" but still remains very "Tele Bridge".
Middle switch with both pickups is punchy, I am pleased with the sound of this... It was hard to achieve a good balance between both pickups but well worth it. The wiring loom is hand made in the UK by David "bucky" Buck.
The body is American Alder with an arm contour finished in aged butterscotch Nitro "thin skin" and is fairly light weight for an Alder body, very comfortable in play.
The neck is quarter sawn 1pc maple with vintage tall frets and a 10 radius on a C profile rolled board edges, this has been aged / road worn and is finished in super smooth satin nitro with vintage aged tuners and single button tree.
The body hardware is roadworn / aged in house.
